Fleet Management provides the following services:
- Working with partners to supply Stockport Council’s vehicles
- Technical and safety advice
- Computerised Fuel management system
- Driver services
- Driver training and assessment
- Accident investigation and damage assesment
- Control of Risk for Driving for Work – (CRDW)
Contract Monitoring
Regular meetings are held with TransLinc to discuss the operation of the Contract and follow up any customer feedback. The Contract is monitored by a range of Performance Indicators.
Contract Development
Fleet Users Group is a means of communication between the Council, TransLinc and Solutions SK. We are keen to develop and progress this Forum.
Technical and Safety Advice
We can provide advice on the operation of Council vehicles and plant.
Computerised Fuel System (Derv, Gas Oil and LPG)
By careful monitoring of all the vehicle fuel usage we can provide reports which are tailored to each section's specific needs. These can detail various data such as fuel used, MPG or even the miles each vehicle covers.
Vehicle Wash
Wash facilities are available at Enterprise House for Council vehicles and plant.
