The service we provide promotes individual independence, respect and personal dignity to vulnerable adults with mobility difficulties, or children with special needs.
On a daily basis we ensure that passengers are transported safely and comfortably to and from their destinations. Solutions SK ensures that all vehicles are fully equipped, have been fitted with tail lifts and/or low steps, and that they have been inspected by our engineers on a regular basis.
We also ensure that our drivers and escorts are specially trained. Our employees are responsible for:
- Transporting adults attending day care and residential services
- Transporting children with bespoke educational needs (SEN) to school
- Intermediate care for adults
- Children's social care transport
- Post 16 transport
- School swimming transport
- Advice and information regarding a range of transport solutions
- Arranging coaches for school trips
We have the necessary expertise to advise and inform you on all aspects of:
- Minibus permits (Section 19)
- MiDAS training
- Disability awareness training for taxi contractors or any other provider of specialist transport
- Training, with regards to wheelchairs and wheelchair restraints, which complies with all health and safety legislation and manufacturers requirements
We have comprehensive “Good Practice Guidelines” available regarding our transport.
