Primary School Meals

If your child is already attending or starting school for the first time it is important that they get an enjoyable healthy and nutritious meal.

A school lunch can provide up to three of the five daily recommended portions of fruit & vegetables and constitutes up to one third of your child’s recommended daily nutrients.

We do not serve fried deep foods in primary schools. All products/dishes are either steamed, boiled or oven baked to maintain optimal nutritional content.

There are Six good reasons why it is important children to stay for a school meal.

My School Lunch logoThe website www.myschoollunch.co.uk/stockport is a dedicated resource for primary school children, parents and teachers. Children can join Deano’s club, meet his friends, enter competitions, win great prizes, play educational games on the interactive Funfair and learn more about the nutritional benefits of different types of foods.

There are a total of 25 great theme days this year and you can download the menus as they become available from www.myschoollunch.co.uk/stockport.
