Solutions SK Scoop Top Award

Solutions SK Ltd, Stockport Council’s wholly owned company is celebrating after winning a much sought after national award.

Solutions SK’s Environmental & Fleet Services department scooped a prestigious RoSPA Award for Occupational Health & Safety.

The RoSPA Awards scheme is not only about reducing the number of accidents and cases of ill-health at work; it encourages organisations to develop robust health and safety management systems.

Nic Cox, Solutions SK’s Managing Director, said: “It is very encouraging to see that our health and safety systems have been recognised by RoSPA. We put health and safety at the centre of everything we do at Solutions SK. The Environmental and Fleet Services team has worked well with the Health and Safety Officer to implement systems that are very effective.”

David Rawlins, RoSPA’s Awards Manager, said: “Solutions SK’s Environmental and Fleet Services team has shown a commitment to protecting the health and well-being of its employees and others. Organisations which do this deserve to have such dedication recognised and that’s where the RoSPA Awards come in.
