The Role

Apprentice bench hand/Joiner - (Permanent, Full Time)

You will be supervised and assessed by a training provider to gain key skills, underpinning knowledge and work skills within your chosen trade.

Apprentices will be expected to participate in ‘On the Job’ training supported by gaining appropriate levels of formal qualification and the building up of their skills and knowledge all at the same time.

You will be working towards NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery gaining relevant technical certification and accreditation in this field.

You will be expected to progress through an apprenticeship development programme that will ensure you are fully equipped with all the necessary skills and expertise required to make the most of your potential in becoming a fully qualified craftsperson.

The starting salary scale will be:-
Age 16 and 17 - £147.38 per week
Age 18 and over - £227.77 per week
