£6.00 per hour - Term Time Only (pay rise pending)

We require General Assistants to work term time only over the lunchtime period in school locations across the borough.

You will be actively involved in a commercial and customer-focused food service. Helping with the preparation and serving of food, you should have a pleasant and helpful manner and the ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas. No previous experience in Catering is necessary as full induction training is provided.

You will have the opportunity to join a Pension Fund, full uniform is provided and you will also have the benefit of enjoying up to 20 days holiday per year.

If successful, you will be required to undertake a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check, a medical and also complete a satisfactory six month probationary period.
