Building Cleaning Operatives

£5.80 per hour (pay rise pending)

Solutions SK Ltd is a diverse organisation providing a variety of frontline operational services that include property maintenance, security services catering, passenger and fleet management, as well as highway maintenance.

We are looking for reliable and motivated staff to join our Building Cleaning team, to assist in providing high quality cleaning services across the borough of Stockport to schools, libraries, council buildings and council housing.

A range of part time positions hours, Monday to Friday are available and Saturday working is also required for library cleaning positions. We offer flexible part time hours, normally between 10 - 27.5 hours per week (paid monthly). Shifts can range between the hours of 6.30am to 7.00pm, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend working.

No previous experience in Building Cleaning is necessary as full induction training is provided. All training provided is to BICS (British Institute of Cleaning Science) standard. There is also an opportunity to undertake the NVQ Level 2 in Building Cleaning Interiors, a nationally recognised qualification. Uniforms are also provided.

If successful, you will be required to undertake a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check, a medical and also complete a satisfactory six month probationary period.
